I love this photograph. I find it inspirational and charming and hopeful and light. I love the colors and the bond between the two. It just makes me happy. Happiness is beautiful, so is laughter and kindness and a wise wrinkled face. I love a baby’s little bum when they waddle around and I love a puppy’s belly. I loved my grandmothers piercing blue eyes as she sat at the table one night while we honored her life. She was animated with the energy of the room, half blind she still could see the love and her eyes were unlike I had ever seen. She was alive with beauty. To this day I remember her so fully alive.
I love the sound of my fathers laughter and his joy of living at 90 years of age. I love my husbands hands and his arms. I love how strong he is and how tender those hands can be. So beautiful. I love the blue of a winters day here in Colorado and the sweeping vista’s and the morning light through our forest.
I love the written word and a gentle nudge from a faithful friend of the four legged kind who has come to visit with her soulful eyes. Beautiful.
I love the beauty of a double rainbow, as if God had to repeat himself for me, his doubting daughter.
I love a garden with the daily changes of remarkable glory…Beautiful. Breathing in the glory of Gods handiwork, the lavender and the sages. They wave and smile to me in their happiness and in their season. It refreshes my soul to see them calling out to me in the morning light.
In this time of strife and pain, I wanted all of us to take a pause and reflect on the things in our life that we find beautiful. What is your list? Please let me know!
Mine will be continued at a later Blog because the world and life is an ever changing vision of beauty evolving. I want to stay present in it’s glory.
